I’ve been coming to Caddy Lake Resort since I was a kid, and it’s always been a place full of good memories and relaxing trips. It’s definitely a special spot that I look forward to year after year. This time we stayed in Cabin 7—very spacious with a beautiful lake view. The gazebo was a great touch, especially when you want to sit outside without getting eaten alive by bugs. The BBQ worked well, and the bug situation wasn’t too bad overall. That said, horseflies were pretty aggressive as usual, and there was a wasp nest nearby—my dad and friend both ended up getting stung, so just something to be aware of. We took the kayaks out to the tunnels, which are about a 30-minute paddle away. That part of the trip was really beautiful, as always. All in all, it was a good stay. Not perfect, but still a solid trip with a few things to be cautious of.

If you've never ridden a kayak, canoe, or a motorboat. Caddy Lake is a nice place to visit. Their rentals are smooth sailing, no pun intended , and the tunnels are gorgeous!

About 30 minutes off main road so it's quite and lots of wildlife. Looks really good for fishing or canoe. Small lakes, small beach, boat and canoe rentals. All firewood, ice and showers in West hawk lake. Campsites very in size and privacy. We had a good experience.

Absolutely wonderful location. Visited mid august and the campground was pleasantly quiet throughout the day. Spent an entire day kayaking around and enjoying the tunnels while stopping off to fish for awhile along the way, catching a couple bass. Spent the next day hiking in the area on the many trails, mainly the Mcgillvray Falls Trail, roughly a 4.5km trail. Kayak, canoe and motorboat rentals are also available. Our only downside was some of the tenting stalls were quite small.

Interesting place. We got one of the cabins with a lake view which was lovely. The four star review instead of five is due to the cardboarded up window with bugs stuck to the tape so it's been this way for a while. So if you're sitting on the couch you can see past an unsightly obstacle. The kitchen was well supplied although bathroom towels would be nice. It looks like a cabin that's been around a while but still has a few more good years in it.

Rented a boat for a day fishing trip. Boy is it worth it. We went through the caddy lake tunnels and caught an abundance of northern pike. Only caught 2 walleye. An absolute worth wile trip. Only problem we had was the garbage paddles we were given. They were not built correctly and one broke. We were charged for the one that broke even though we showed how it was not glued correctly. Other than this set back, the trip is absolutely worth the cost.

Just went here for kayak rentals, didn't stay for the night, but it was 10/10. The staff were very friendly and helpful, very clear about directions and answering any questions I had. Though if you enjoy kayaking, I cannot recommend this lake enough. The tunnels and caves are absolutely breath-taking

Booked a motorboat during labour day, staff was friendly and helpful, would recommend doing half day, which is around 3-4 hours, this way you can get to both tunnels without stressing of returning. Would also recommend if you go early in the morning, as when we came back in the afternoon, it got pretty busy and all the motorboats may be taken up, canoeing is also fine, but you may need the full day to explore both tunnels and return.
